This Fixer Program Agreement ("Agreement") is a placeholder template and does not yet reflect the final terms of the CarFindr Fixers program. It governs your participation as an independent Fixer providing on-location automotive services arranged through the CarFindr platform. By continuing past this screen, you confirm that you have read and understood the terms described below.
To participate in the Fixer Program, you must be at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in Canada (as a citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid work permit), able to provide a valid government-issued photo ID, and able to demonstrate genuine hands-on experience with at least one qualifying automotive service.
Fixers operate as independent contractors, not as employees, agents, or partners of CarFindr. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment relationship. You are responsible for your own tools, transportation, applicable licensing, and for reporting your own income for tax purposes in accordance with Canadian law.
Every Fixer agrees to perform services with reasonable skill and care, to use appropriate tools and safe working practices, and to represent CarFindr professionally while on a customer job. CarFindr may set minimum quality and conduct standards that apply to all Fixers using the platform.
Jobs are offered to Fixers based on the services they have selected and their general service area. Accepting a job is entirely at the Fixer's discretion. Once accepted, a Fixer is expected to complete or properly cancel the job within the platform's stated timeframes.
Payment terms, applicable platform fees, and payout timing will be described in full during the remaining steps of this application and in your Fixer dashboard. Placeholder text only, no payment figures in this template should be treated as final.
Repeated cancellations after acceptance, or failure to attend a confirmed job without reasonable notice, may affect your standing in the Fixer Program, including temporary or permanent removal from the platform.
Fixers must treat customers, their property, and CarFindr staff with respect. Harassment, discrimination, dishonesty about work performed, or unsafe conduct on a job is grounds for immediate removal from the program.
Fixers are responsible for owning or having reliable access to the tools required for the services they choose to offer. CarFindr does not supply tools, parts, or consumables unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific job.
Fixers are responsible for maintaining any insurance coverage required for the services they provide. CarFindr's role is limited to connecting customers and Fixers through the platform; final liability terms will be detailed in the complete version of this Agreement.
Any customer information a Fixer accesses through the platform, including contact details and job addresses, must be used solely to complete the assigned job and must not be stored, shared, or used for any other purpose.
This Agreement remains in effect while you are an active Fixer on the platform. Either you or CarFindr may end the relationship at any time, for any lawful reason, subject to any notice terms described in the final Agreement.
CarFindr may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active Fixers before taking effect. Continued participation in the program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which the Fixer primarily operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
By checking the box below and continuing, you confirm that you have read this template in full, understand that it will be replaced with the final Fixer Program Agreement, and agree to continue with your application.
